General Information for ALL Tryouts
What are you Trying Out for? Invitations to Team Selection Camp will be sent out from Tryouts. The purpose of Team Selection Camp is to select the strongest SRVA HP Teams possible while offering highly competitive training experience to multiple athletes within the Southern Region. This process replaces the former Experience Camp. We believe this process will allow our staff to more fully evaluate athletes and team creation over a 2 day period rather than the prior 2 hour tryout only format used in prior years. Attendance for this camp is by invitation only after selection at HP Tryouts. Teams will be selected AT SRVA HP Selection Camp to the SRVA HP Teams.

TRYOUT DATE: Friday, 05/03/24 - prior to the SRVA Regional Championship Tournament
TRYOUT TIME - will vary by Gender & Age Division. Please refer to the chart below.
TRYOUT LOCATION - Georgia World Congress Center - Hall & Courts TBA.

*includes HP T-shirt. T-shirt color will indicate primary position.
TRYOUT REGISTRATION DEADLINES:
*Late registrations are not guaranteed a tryout t-shirt.
There will be no onsite/walk-up registration.

Video Submission is also accepted in lieu of an in person tryout. It is strongly encouraged for all interested athletes to attend an in person SRVA HP Tryout. If an athlete has a conflict and/or has other commitments, a special consideration opportunity for Video Tryout is made available. These athletes must still register for tryouts as well as submit a video for tryout review. Please review the Video Submission Guidelines & Process Page here to complete your video submission. Videos NOT following the guidelines & written process will not be accepted & reviewed.

**No U13 Team will be offered for Girls (2012+). Because of not fielding teams, there are not tryouts for these birth years.

The SRVA HP Program Directors firmly believe the strength, success and veracity of this program depends upon the girls program remaining club agnostic. It is our commitment that ALL SRVA HP Programs, Camps, Tryouts and Events will be run ONLY by HP team coaches and approved SRVA HP staff. This means that you can rest assured that your athlete will not be recruited or influenced by other clubs. Athletes will mainly interact with college coaches staffed by the SRVA HP Program.
Tryouts, SRVA HP Team Selection, and SRVA HP Training Camps will operate as club agnostic and selection will be based completely independently of club affiliation. Only HP team coaches and approved SRVA HP staff will have input during the tryout process.
