From I-565: Fern Bell Recreation Center is located in southeast Huntsville, South if I-565 and East of HWY 231 (Memorial Parkway). From HWY 231(Memorial Parkway) turn east onto Byrd Spring Rd. At dead-end turn left onto Whitesburg Dr. Travel approximately 1/2 mile. Turn left onto Sanders (between Whitesburg Elementary School and Whitesburg Baptist Church). Turn left into Fern Bell parking lot after traveling past the School.
