THE 2009 SRVA ADULT GRASS CHAMPIONSHIPS

will be held on August 1st and 2nd, 2009 at Berry Patch Farms in Atlanta, Georgia. Men's and Women's King and Queen competition will occur on Saturday August 1, 2009. Reverse Coed competition will occur on Sunday August 2, 2009. Money prizes will be offered in certain divisions.

WANT TO JOIN AS AN INDIVIDUAL MEMBER-the new SRVA Online Registration System is currently available to ONLY club directors. Any individual who is not registering with a junior club should go to the forms/registration section of this website, print/complete/sign a membership form and mail the completed form and fee to the address on the form.

IMPACT CLINICS AND CERTIFICATION

An impact coaches certification is REQUIRED within a reasonable amount of time after participation as a coach in junior level activities. COACHES WHO ARE CURRENTLY IMPACT CERTIFIED ARE LISTED UNDER THE IMPACT CERTIFICATIONS SECTION OF THIS WEBSITE.

To request a clinic, please review/submit the form in the forms/coaches section of this website.

The following Impact coaches clinics are currently scheduled. These clinics last at least five hours, and you must attend the ENTIRE CLINIC to receive a certification.

NO CLINICS ARE SCHEDULED AT THIS TIME

To register for a scheduled clinic, complete and submit a form by the required deadline. Registration forms may be found in the forms/coaches section of this website.

PLEASE CALL 1-800-571-9810 IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CONFIRMATION EMAIL BY TWO DAYS BEFORE A CLINIC, as directions to the clinic will not be posted on the website.

Bad Weather Policy

August 30, 2006

It is the decision of each coach and/or club whether their team should attempt to travel to a tournament in bad weather. However, it is the decision of the individual tournament director whether or not to cancel a tournament due to bad weather. Teams deciding not to attend a tournament that has not been cancelled will not receive a refund of their tournament entry fee. In addition, those teams must notify the Region prior to the tournament that they will not participate or they may be subject to further monetary sanctions.

DO YOU WANT TO HOST AN INDOOR TOURNAMENT?

Initial requests to host an indoor tournament are due by October 1, 2008. Please complete and mail/fax the tournament request form that is located in our forms/tournament section of this website.
Our board has approved the purchase of new online membership and tournament registration software, and approved use of the new ranking system included in that software. To make this work, tournament directors would enter the results for their tournaments by set won/lost. Please contact Commissioner Ken Cain with any questions or concerns.
